We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
If you have looked our web site over, you will realize we hold all of our armed forces personnel in high regard and especially all of our veterans. These are the people who were or are now on the front lines protecting our freedoms. It is very easy for all of us to take of this for granted each day, but it comes with a cost.
The AMHF members continue to work on Island Doll to keep her in flying condition that we might be able to preserve this small bit of history that few people know about. This particular plane came off the assembly line in March of 1945 and is still flying. It takes many thousands of volunteer man hours of labor each year to keep her in the air and available for people to see.
We feel that the story of our veterans, our service men and women, and the history of this airplane are worth preserving so that other people, in years to come, will know what really happened during WWII. If you feel the same way, please consider making a donation to the AMHF to help fund the maintenance and restoration of this plane.
To help keep Island Doll in flying conddition we would be pleased to accept your online donation.
